Gentlemen, here is a simple guide how the membership works as of now (April, 2026).

It’s easier to do it as a webpage than an email.

okay, prospective user goes to the site and tries to see the forbidden delights of the members only section. 

They see the join or log in.

They select join and get taken to the form.

They fill in the form, choose the membership and hit send. they are automatically given a “FREE” membership, but they cannot access the restricted content.

The admin then processes payment exactly as it is done now then logs into the site and changes the membership status from free to whatever they paid for. I would also suggest setting the date to the day of payment so they get a full year.

Once admin saves the changes a new email goes out to the member informing them they now have full access to the restricted content.

That’s were we are with membership. At some date we can get the automated payment system working.
